The primary role of the Hennessy V.S Brand Manager is to maximize the performance of this sub-brand within the Hennessy brand franchise; guide and support optimal usage of intra-brand service functions (trade marketing, PR/communications, digital and experiential marketing); drive analytical assessment and budget management.
Strategic Business Planning: 30%
• Work with Sr. Brand Director to develop, create, plan and execute consumer driven brand plans that maximize brand equity, revenue and profit for Hennessy V.S in the US market. • Define 360 programs to drive growth and build brand equity • Define strategic brief for creative agencies - based on Regional feedbacks, market trends and brand identity to develop exciting consumer and trade marketing programs. • Create exciting and compelling presentation and tools to ensure internal and external buy-in • Execute brilliantly the programs in sync with Regions. • KPIs to track and measure program effectiveness, ensure reasonable ROI. • Lead brand completion of commercial analytics, including monthly reporting and diagnostic assessment of V.S and Black brand performance and strategic opportunities.
Brand Management & Marketing: 35%
• Play key role in successfully managing and growing the On-Premise business in the US market by conducting quantitative business analysis covering a variety of topics including sales, market trends, competition, consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and developing clear, compelling On Premise programs (food pairing, rituals, consumers activations guidelines) that inspire and engage key stakeholders, including senior management, distributors, retailers, and promotional partners. • Lead the Hennessy V.S Limited Edition program • Participate in building and implementing the go-forward 2019 strategy for Hennessy Black in the US. Lead new program development under new positioning with the objective to drive growth in the U.S in 2019 and beyond.
Finance & Operations: 15%
• Manage and track Advertising & Promotional (A&P) budget, ensure spend is prioritized against brand priorities and relevant growth opportunities. • Achieve the budgeted P&L goals for Hennessy as well as successful financial close in collaboration with Brand & Finance teams
• Become a respected player within MHUSA and work closely with Sales, Distributors and Retail partners to gain input and support to effectively execute commercial plans. • Work effectively in Maison / Region matrix organization. • Be a brand champion and Brand market expert. • Develop product expertise and a strong sense of market dynamics through training, market visits, and frequent customer interactions.
Education: Undergraduate Degree required
Languages: English, working knowledge of French a plus
Experience and Skills: Luxury mindset, passion for & in depth understanding of people and culture, strong business & financial acumen, experience with new product launches. Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint.
