Proactively identify, respond to and win projects to include; identifying bid opportunities, preparing bid responses, negotiating with potential customers, building and maintaining customer relationships
Estimating, negotiating, and selling service and maintenance contracts to obtain new units on maintenance agreements
Overseeing job details throughout sales process, including managing contract documents, creating approvals and layouts and tracking to completion
Initiating sales installation process by working directly with field management on projects and coordinating activities and information related to ordering and installation of Otis equipment
Retaining current maintenance agreements through good customer service and selling on factors other than price
Providing customers with basic elevator consultations and technical guidance
Position requires local travel to customer visits & industry-related events
BA/BS degree required or equivalent in relevant work experience
Preferred candidate will have a minimum of 3 year of sales experience
Excellent verbal and written communication / presentation skills to effectively interact with a wide variety of people with diverse background of all levels and disciplines
Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
Self-motivated with an ability to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
Strong computer skills with a proven ability to learn new software and systems quickly
Additional Salary Information: Base salary + sales incentive
