Energy Foundation’s mission is to secure a clean and equitable energy future to tackle the climate crisis. We envision a healthy, safe, equitable economy powered by clean energy. We believe a thriving clean energy economy can create sustainable opportunities, spur innovation, and protect our climate—for today and future generations.
We are currently seeking two highly skilled leaders of people and processes to serve as our inaugural Vice President, States and Regions Program and Vice President, National Program.
Working in partnership with Energy Foundation (EF) leadership to coordinate and elevate the foundation’s multi-state and national efforts, the Vice Presidents will have the opportunity to tackle one of the world’s most pressing and ubiquitous challenges. The Vice President, States and Regions Program (VP, States and Regions) will direct and manage the work of four regional-based U.S. teams running campaigns to secure policy progress and build public support in priority locations. The Vice President, National Program (VP, National Program) will direct a complementary team of policy and communications experts developing strategy and supporting expert networks in the areas of transportation, buildings, clean power, energy efficiency, fossil energy, and clean energy markets. Both VPs will focus on bringing nonprofit management expertise to implementing strategies developed by their teams, under the direction of the Senior Vice President of programs who is charged with integrating strategy across the organization.
