We are looking for a Global Pricing Manager, Pricing Research & Competitive Pricing. Reporting directly to the Executive Director Global Strategic Pricing, the Manager Pricing Research and Data Acquisition is focused on leading the optimization of profitable share growth in the aftermarket business. In close coordination with Business Line Leaders, Value Stream Simplification Team, Product Marketing, Category Management and Sales Teams Manager – Pricing Research and Data Acquisition focuses on building simple, efficient and scalable process to perform pricing research and acquire insightful analysis leveraging pricing datasets for a thorough assessment of market and competitive pricing practices and customer’s willingness to pay. The Manager will have responsibility to lead cross-functional projects to perform pricing research to understand optimum price position for DRiV’s leading brands across all regions. In addition to research Manager will leverage data science and segmentation to run classification models at the SKU level to enable value-based pricing.

Designs modern, simple and effective pricing processes to provide value based segmentation at the SKU level to all DRiV Brands.
Performs analysis to determine customer segmentation based on willingness to pay.
Lead pricing research leveraging Conjoint, GG, VW and other methodologies to understand price-sensitivity and willingness to pay.
Develop price scraping capabilities collecting data at scale to understand competitive and market price trends.
Bring to bear data science and analysis methods to value creation and margin formation along the value chain leveraging POS data and trends.
Develop a road map for future strategic pricing capabilities (tools, systems, data) relating to collection and synthesis of competitive and market pricing insights.
Establish and maintain procedures to review and adjust pricing based on changing economic and market landscape.
Lead competitive war gaming scenarios predicting price and share outcomes.
Develop analysis of rebate, promotion and commission structures of competitors.
Oversee development of metrics and dashboards that monitor competitive and market pricing trends.
Develop a deep understanding of customer segments, competitor offerings and market trends.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Finance or related field, with an MBA and/or PMP certification preferred.
Skills & Experience:
5-7 years professional experience in Strategic Pricing / Revenue Management / Marketing / Sales /Finance in a major corporation.
Deep experience in compliant collection and analysis of competitive insights.
Prior experience successfully leading change management efforts. Prior experience working across cultures.
Prior experience successfully building scalable data collection mechanisms to understand market and competitive price,
Significant experience in leading pricing research projects and knowledge of advance pricing research techniques such as Conjoint/VW/Gabor Granger.
Prior experience in price testing.
Strong project management skills.
Strategic mind-set. Able to come up with effective plans in line with organization’s objectives within a particular economic situation, set goals and determine priorities, and identify potential risks and opportunities.
Excellent quantitative, data science (Python, R, S++), and modeling skills required.
Expert with Microsoft Suite of tools (PowerBI).
