Director of Marketing

Position Summary The Director of Marketing acts as the primary marketing strategist for the association, responsible for all aspects of marketing including brand and brand awareness, communications, promotions, writing and design. The successful candidate is expected to plan, create, and execute marketing strategy that will help lead the association into new markets and reach new business audiences to drive growth for the organization. We are looking for an independent, creative, organized, marketing professional who can help the association and its services/products improve over time. The successful candidate will use APMP’s new Winning Business Ecosystem to build new markets the Board of Directors would like to pursue. One of this person’s first major assignments will include rolling out the association’s new name/brand to multiple industries. Aspects of this association requiring support include, but are not limited to :
This is a mid-level position with no direct supervisory responsibilities. This person will be expected to lead support staff with all marketing-related efforts, however. The Director of Marketing reports to the Senior Director of Operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
