Meaningful Work From Day One
The Global Inbound Director role is a part of the Global Integrated Marketing Communications Center of Excellence (CoE) team.
The Integrated Marketing Communications Team includes Director level positions in Media Strategy, Inbound Marketing, e-commerce and Digital Performance.
This role functions as a subject matter expert on Inbound Marketing for Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Leaders and Marketing leaders around the world.
It is the global thought leader for Brown-Forman on the core topics of search, CRM and websites and drives thinking on linking inbound to other channels of media, e-commerce and Digital Performance.
Reporting to this role are the roles of Global Content Analytics Manager and Director Global Content and Marketing Information.
This role is to define best in class global thinking for the role of search, websites and CRM and to maximize the value of these key integrated marketing disciplines across Brown-Froman.
In conjunction with the Director of Global Digital Performance in the IMC Center of Excellence to define metrics and best practice in these disciplines and builds an ongoing culture of learning and optimization.
This role in injunction with Director Global Content and Marketing Information will play a key role in the roll out of our Global Product Information Management System (PIM) to our top 10 markets to enable best in class product information and presence to e-commerce retail sites and other external partners.

Global Brand & Market IMC Teams: Understands brand growth priorities and strategies as input into the role of inbound. Provides subject matter expertise and guidance to these teams as well as setting global process & standards. Consults on Inbound and content topics and where necessary reviews plans and problem solves.
Media & Creative agencies & External Partners: Works to maximize our relationships and seek additional value from these relationships. Where needed introduces new global thinking and process.
To thrive in this job, here’s what you should bring ...
Education: Undergraduate Degree or higher.
What You Can Add to the Team
15+ years working client and/ or agency side in media and marketing disciplines including management of multi-country communication plans.
Extensive Consumer brand experience in this field is a must for this role ideally in a fast moving consumer goods or luxury brand company (i.e. not a B2B environment).
Demonstrated strategic thinking across media, social, on-line video, CRM, search, web-site, data and analytics, content and e-commerce.
Significant overall knowledge of search, CRM, Websites and content management and optimization.
Strong understanding of marketing principles and brand growth strategy.
Managing a team of direct and indirect reports.
Evidence of impactful Strategic thinking and complex project management within a communications environment.
Experience in working with large media and creative agencies across markets.
What Makes You Unique
Certifications: Broad based business education such as Business Degree or MBA.
Experience working across markets in consumer communications and ideally e-commerce projects for a multinational company.
Background living and working in different markets (International career track).
Ideally the candidate will have a combination of client and agency experience or have extensive experience in client management at the agency side.
A career track that has included brand management, insights or another core marketing discipline in addition to media or communications would be a strong plus.
