The Communications Manager organizes and directs all communications planning, marketing, materials production, and media relations activities for the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability (BPS) with discretion and awareness of intergovernmental, community and equity issues. In coordination with the BPS Equity and Community Engagement teams, the Communications Manager is the top public information professional for the bureau, manages media relations; embeds all communications in an equity framework and ensures impactful communications across all bureau channels.
