The Public Relations, Digital Storytelling and Special Events Manager (PRDSSEM) administers a comprehensive, coherent, and effective publicity for the extensive public-facing work integral to the academic, artistic and community-engaged work of the Department of Performing Arts (DPA). The work involves both external and internal communications for hundreds of individual performances and events per year, faculty scholarship and artistic output, and DPA core partnerships with several interdisciplinary University initiatives, including the Racial Justice Institute, Georgetown Humanities Initiative, the Laboratory for Global Performance and Politics, the Georgetown Earth Commons, and others.
