Department OverviewThe Senior Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing communications and related strategies that elevate the OHSU School of Dentistry as a leader in dental care, research and education; and supporting engagement of faculty, students, residents, alumni and other key audiences. This individual plans, executes and sustains effective multi-dimensional communications efforts that help to achieve School of Dentistry goals and is responsible for the school's day-to-day communications function. The position provides communications counsel and support to the Dean and senior leaders on a broad array of issues affecting employee and student life, including speech writing, opinion pieces and presentations.
