This destination and marketing organization is positioned to promote economic development through tourism utilizing the world-renowned experiences in water sports, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and many cultural activities throughout the year.
This CEO has a significant outward-facing responsibility in the community working closely with city leaders and business leaders to drive tourists to this beautiful, sun-soaked area. We are seeking a leader that has been in leadership roles in a destination marketing organization or similar role who wants to lead a team to bring significant value to this well-known location. The CEO will have a dual role where they develop and implement robust strategies to drive destination reputation and economic growth while also providing positive leadership to the team and in the community.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in destination marketing within a tourism organization. Strong knowledge of marketing strategies, campaign development, and implementation across various channels is necessary. Also key to the role is experience successfully developing strategies to drive economic growth through tourism and has using data to evaluate performance.
