General Responsibilities
In collaboration with the Ability Indiana program team, the Account Executive is responsible for identifying, procuring, developing, and servicing contracts by fostering relationships with Certified Ability Indiana Organizations (CAIOs), state agency administrative leadership, and customers while also expanding sales opportunities and increasing product development. More responsibilities of this position include the following:
Provide timely, clear, professional, effective, and accurate assistance, verbally and in writing, to Members, Certified Ability Indiana Organizations (CAIOs), customers, state partners, allied partners and other external stakeholders.
Focus on Ability Indiana program sales and proactively generating ideas on how to grow the program.
Travel to CAIO sites across the state as necessary in order to gain a better understanding of their products and services and to facilitate new business.
Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of the position while meeting deadlines for long-term projects. Stay organized in order to be efficient and timely with requests for information.
Provide exceptional customer service in order to exceed the expectations of INARF’s Members, CAIOs, customers, allied partners and external
Provide general administrative support, as needed or requested.
Education and Experience?
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred
Demonstrated sales experience preferred
Work Environment
The scheduled work hours are between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM Monday through Friday. Our Employee Handbook allows all INARF employees to work remotely on Thursdays and Fridays unless otherwise stated.
The Account Executive position requires travel to CAIO locations around the state. This travel can be done on any day during the regular work week as necessary.
Salary
$52,000 - $55,000
This position could also be eligible to receive a bonus based on job performance alongside other potential INARF bonuses.
Full Job Description: Account Executive
Reports to: Vice President – Legislative Affairs
Classification: Non-exempt for overtime purposes. Base plus commission.
General Responsibilities
In collaboration with the Ability Indiana program team, the Account Executive is responsible for identifying, procuring, developing, and servicing contracts by fostering relationships with Certified Ability Indiana Organizations (CAIOs), state agency administrative leadership, and customers while also expanding sales opportunities and increasing product development.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Ability Indiana Program
Business Development
Develop an operational knowledge of all products and services.
Work with CAIOs to research and develop new products and services, in order to expand the catalog of Program offerings and sales opportunities.
Increase sales through enhanced outreach efforts to potential and existing customers.
Deliver informational presentations to potential and existing stakeholders.
Research other State Use programs for innovative approaches and products and services.
Bring creative, innovative approaches to marketing the program and selling the products and services.
Approach to Business Processes
Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with CAIOs, state agency leadership, customers, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all components of product and service contracts according to established Ability Indiana Program Policies and Procedures.
Use ethical and appropriate business contracting practices and principles in all Program discussions.
Proactively provide quarterly training, administrative and technical assistance, best practices, and consultation as necessary to CAIOs to improve management, contract compliance, and quality assurance for product and service contracts.
Oversee timely delivery of purchase requests and ensure timely return of finished products and services.
Act as liaison with appropriate parties to resolve order discrepancies regarding shipping, payment, or quality.
Represent CAIOs to purchasing agents and other customers and provide account service to enhance customer relations.
Program Reporting
Prepare Program reports for the State Use Committee, Ability Indiana Board of Directors, and other meetings as directed.
Assist in the development of agendas and delivering of presentations for Ability Indiana meetings and other regularly scheduled meetings as needed.
Develop and execute communication plans and write articles for the Program newsletter, annual report, website, and other published materials.
INARF Membership
Provide staff support to regularly scheduled INARF member meetings and corporate committees as necessary.
Provide assistance and support as needed to INARF Members.
Present updates on the Ability Indiana program to INARF members and CAIOs. These updates may include product and service performance metrics, new and potential sales opportunities, and details on the future of the program.
Necessary Skills, Training, and Other Requirements
Demonstrate passion for completing accurate work and delivering results.
Ability to collaborate with coworkers to achieve results and exceed goals.
Excellent communication skills for phone contact, written correspondence, and face-to-face contact with CAIOs, customers, and other allied partners.
Organizational and time management skills with the ability to self-direct and prioritize competing responsibilities.
Comprehensive knowledge and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and a willingness to learn additional programs, such as Salesforce, project management tools, and association management sites.
Familiar with the operation of most standard office equipment.
Work hours between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Be available for business travel as assigned and necessary.
Adhere to the Association’s policies and procedures contained in the Employee Handbook.
Work Environment

INARF employees will work in the INARF office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays during regular business hours. The Account Executive position requires travel to CAIO locations around the state. This travel can be done on any day during the regular work week as necessary.
It is acceptable for INARF employees to wear jeans and appropriate casual attire during the regular work week, but staff should be dressed appropriately for any meetings that involve INARF or Ability Indiana members and outside stakeholders.
