The Local Experience Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to assist the Local Experience Manager and support the Local Experience Events and Activities for local ILTA experiences.
Specific Responsibilities:
Collaborate with ILTA Member Liaisons to plan and organize local meetings and events
Send out campaign emails to promote events, manage the registration list, and track attendee participation in Salesforce
Prepare materials such as name tags and sign-in sheets for events.
Track and maintain metrics for local meetings and socials, ensuring key data is recorded and reported
Internal Relations:
Reports to the Local Experience Manager with a dotted line to Director of Events
Effectively maintain relationships with departments within the organization
Adheres to ILTA’s Core Values in all interactions
External Relations:
Responsible for maintaining effective relationships with ILTA Member Liaisons to plan local meetings and events
Be able to work with ILTA Business Partners to sponsor local meetings and event
Reply to all inquiries from members and business partners in a timely and professional manner
Work alongside with the development and execution of international events
Work with the Local Experience Task Force to implement recommendations for local meetings and events to enhance the attendee experience
Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote local meetings and events across multiple channels
Act as a backup to Local Experience Manager
Assist with proofreading and scheduling the Product Briefing Newsletter.
Support the planning and execution of Product Briefings and Master Classes
Ensure the calendar is up-to-date for Master Classes, Product Briefings, and "Ask the Expert" webinars
Upload video content and PowerPoint presentations to the ILTA On- Demand library following Master Classes and Product Briefings
Additional requirements:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
· Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
· Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
· Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
· Available for most of the month of August to assist Local Experience Manager with ILTACON Scholarships and ILTACON volunteers
· Be available to travel to ILTACON if their assistance is required
· Be able to lift 25lbs, assist with ILTACON, and be able to be on your feet during long conferences
