The Center’s Marketing and Communications interns work within the marketing and communications department to promote activities at the Center through a variety of integrated campaigns and activities, including online advertising, direct marketing, public relations, and email communications. Interns receive hands-on experience in a variety of marketing tasks and are exposed to the process of creating and implementing the Center's marketing and public relations strategies.
This is an in person internship that runs from June 8 – July 31, 2026.
Duties & Responsibilities
Intern contributes to overall marketing campaigns from the planning stages to analyzing results and trends. Interns will assist with social media content creation, merchandise design and development, exploring audience trends, conducting show and genre research, assisting with pricing and performance analysis to inform strategic marketing decisions and revenue planning, and helping to shape the Center’s brand storytelling across platforms and audiences.
Qualifications
Seeking a current student or recent grad with a desire to learn about working on arts related marketing campaigns from inception to analysis and implementing data driven solutions. Additionally,
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be enrolling in college, currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate
Individuals who are studying or have a degree in the following fields are preferred: Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, Media Relations, Arts Administration
Strong organization skills
Engaging personality with exceptional communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook (Survey Monkey and CANVA experience a plus)
Familiarity with Social Media platforms a plus
Experience or interest in the performing arts is a plus
