Independent Contractor to monitor local governments for local Association of REALTORS and alert the local Association about issues of importance to REALTORS and homeowners for three counties in Maryland (five hours/week/county; modest additional time permitted with prior approval; additional separate contracts also an opportunity with locals for separate hours/work).  Candidates, working with the State Association, will give local board advance notice and better tracking of local real estate/homeowner legislative issues, professional representation before government entities, and improve communication/input with local decision makers; and work with local Association Committee(s). Counties to cover: Carroll, Frederick and Howard (possible combination of all three).
